Ice making:

Ice is made by freezing water in galvanized iron molds in a basin with water that contains a large amount of table salt and passing ammonia gas into pipes that pass through the basin for several hours, so the water cools in the basin to a degree from 10 - 30 ° below zero (-10 - 30 - 30) without freezing because it contains A high content of table salt while water freezes in iron molds.

Iron molds, including snow, shall be transferred to a basin with normal temperature water. Ice blocks shall be separated from the walls of the iron molds, and the water level shall be less than the height of the basin.

Ice blocks are extracted from the iron molds and stored in a rack until distribution or transferred straight to the distribution cars.

To obtain a frosted snow, i.e. bubble-free, dissolved air must be extracted into the water and this is done by shakers that are placed inside iron molds which are galvanized steel sheet shakes left and right for a distance of 3 cm so that the melted air collects around and bubbles up as bubbles and when the water starts to freeze it raises these Shakers.
